AstroNudge is a Chrome extension that shows a personalized daily astrological theme and guidance on your New Tab page.

Data we collect

AstroNudge only collects the information you enter in the setup form:

• Name (optional)

• Date of birth

• Time of birth

• Place of birth (and its timezone from the selected suggestion)

How we use this data

We use this information only to calculate your astrological chart and generate your daily predictions, timings, and “For You Today” guidance inside the extension.

Where your data is stored

Your data is stored locally on your device using Chrome’s local storage ( chrome.storage.local ). We do not store your data on our servers, and we do not transmit it to

any external databases. All complex astrological calculations (like the daily Panchang and Moon transits) are computed 100% offline directly on your device.

Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties.

Network requests

To provide accurate astrological data, AstroNudge makes a one-time network request to one external service:

1. https://geocoding-api.open-meteo.com/: When you type your "Place of birth", we send your place query here to show city suggestions and determine the precise

geographic coordinates and timezone. This request is only made when you search for a place during setup or if you edit your location.
